I can only plan around what you share. Say where the problem is, how long it has been there and what you already tried, and I arrive with the right parts and a clear idea of the work. Have these ready:
- Where the trouble is and when it began
- A photo or two of the damage
- Rough age of the roof, furnace or water heater
- Whether it is urgent or can wait a week

Shift furniture back from the work area and shut pets in a separate room. A photo of the problem and the age of the system help me plan ahead too.
